Characterful inn, gorgeous large rooms, well-appointed bathrooms
The plumbing system is a major distraction with its deafening noise every time a toilet flushes or tap is used!!! Some upper rooms require navigating steep stairs, which is a workout when laden with luggage!!!

missingWrote a review on 29 Augsteep stairs
The stairs leading to the rooms are quite steep and winding, which can be a challenge, especially after a long day. Some noise from the radiator during the night was disruptive, waking us multiple times until we figured out its source. if you're not a steak fan, the limited dining options may leave you feeling a bit constrained. It's worth noting that getting certain items from the menu might be hit or miss, as availability can vary.

Clean and well-appointed twin room with lovely beds, and a fantastic shower, although the kitchen extractor was somewhat loud at night. The friendly staff provided excellent service during our evening meal, and the breakfast surpassed expectations, especially the delicious bacon. A suggestion for improvement would be to provide wash cloths in the bathroom.
